BEGIN Program

Hobaica’s Annual BEGIN Program Helps Needy Phoenix Families

Hobaica Services launched the BEGIN program, which stands for Business Entities Getting Involved In Our Neighborhoods in 2008 to help their struggling neighbors during these hard economic times. The program also challenges other companies to get involved in donating their time and resources to the program. Now in its third year, Hobaica Services’ BEGIN program asks the local community to nominate deserving people they knew who are in need of a new heating and cooling system in their home. In turn, Hobaica Services gives away one home comfort system per week during the months of November and December to deserving Valley residents who currently did not have a working heating and/or cooling system.

It’s About Getting Involved

The BEGIN program also challenges other local businesses to get involved, donating their time and resources to help contribute to the program. Last year, nineteen local businesses pledged their support by donating their services and resources such as, thermostats, metal products, crane services, air distribution materials and even heating and cooling units to the program. Last year, Hobaica’s annual BEGIN program donated $46,375 in heating and cooling units to Phoenix-metro families in need.

Details coming soon for this year’s 2010 BEGIN program. If you know someone who is in need of a heating and cooling system or if you are a business that is looking to get involved, please stay tuned for details!
